The first is vitamin C, which has been tested and proven to increase the metabolism rate. Now if the metabolic rate increases and the person stops or reduces the carbohydrate intake, the body begins to burn the fats in order to obtain the energy. This leads to a drastic reduction in fat levels, which are otherwise stored as an alternative store of energy for emergency use.

The vitamin D is the second vitamin that is used to make good use of cholesterol. It can act upon the LDL and triglycerides in order to help them convert into synovial fluid, which acts as a lubricant for the knees, shoulders and other joints. Vitamin D also uses the fats in order to synthesize certain substances that are helpful in the formation of bones.

The vitamin E uses most of the cholesterol in order to derive substances that are mostly needed for the proper upkeep of the skin, scalp, hair and the nails. These substances act as lubricants, protective layering, nourishing and insulating agents and therefore convert the fat into such useful substances, so the body cholesterol levels tend to get somewhat lower.

It is therefore better for people suffering from high cholesterol levels to use these vitamins in their daily intake and couple them with a certain amount of diet and exercise in order to ensure the maximum reduction in the level of blood and body cholesterol.
